Biographical Information

I am Dr Stewart Green. I have been a Senior Lecturer in the
Faculty of Computing, Engineering and Mathematical Sciences (CEMS) at the
University of the West of England since 1992. While working at UWE, I attained
my doctorate on a synthesised approach to goal-oriented requirements engineering
from Imperial College, London. Before starting at UWE,  I was a Research
Assistant at King’s College, London, where I worked on the Generic Modelling and
Requirements Capture (GMARC) project. I worked there after completing an MSc in
the Foundations of Advanced Information Systems at Imperial College.

Prior to moving into Higher Education, I spent eleven years in
industry working in turn for ICL, British Aerospace, and Prime Computers. At
Prime I helped to develop the data dictionary product and an automatic
transaction generator.

My interests in computing include software engineering, in
particular requirements engineering and formal methods; I am also interested in
the relationship between organisational processes and computer-based process
support. Outside work I play tennis, and I also enjoy reading and listening to
music.
